I have opened a wonderful shop in Westport, Connecticut USA, which is located on the Saugatuck River. It is easily accessible by either the Merrit (exit 40) or I-95 (exit 17).

In store you will find needlepoint and fibres for your canvases, as well as several antique dolls and accessories, including antique style dress and bonnet patterns. I look forward to welcoming you when you come to Westport.

I opened my shop partially because my husband decided I had too many canvases at home which were taking up too much space and secondly because I have always wanted to have a place where people could come to visit and shop. I carry a large variety of hand painted canvases and kits, as well as a complete line of threads and accessories (scissors, etc). I have an area where one can come to needlepoint, have a cappuccino and watch the ducks and swans swim by. Working at my "Stitch and Bitch" table is a fun way to pass time and talk with others.

I have always loved antique dolls and this increased when my grandmother passed (age 104) and left me her antique doll collection. When I decided to open my needlepoint shop, it seemed natural to have an area to carry dolls and accessories for those who shared my passion. In addition to the dolls in the shop, I have a catalogue of dolls that are available, in addition to clothes and accessories that are not on site. The patterns I carry are copies of antique style clothes, bonnets, shoes, etc. for those who sew. You can see examples of some I have made and these are available for purchase.
